Recognizing that it is very likely we will not find the passengers and crew of the downed FACh Hercules alive, this accident should serve as a reminder that there are Chileans who give their lives for Chile and to build a nation in complex and inhospitable territories such as Antarctica.
It is time to support the families of the 38 who were on the plane, as well as the FACh and Army during this difficult moment in which they have lost their loved ones.
