Clear Objectives

El Mercurio de Valparaíso, June 11

Having concluded the Month of the Sea, the shape of the Navy for the third centenary is becoming clear. A 24/7 Navy, with versatile means that, after more than two centuries of impeccable service, has a clear purpose: to protect and represent maritime interests, enabling the economic development of Chile through its work: renewing its fleet and the means it uses to fulfill its maritime obligations, including those used for search and rescue; seeking to develop and retain talent, actively incorporating women into its ranks; pursuing technology to be effective and efficient, and advocating for its right to responsible transparency in accordance with a national defense institution.
